 Tuesday 4th October 2022 LO: To analyse a media text using Media Language. Medium long shot. They use the medium long shot so it shows what he is wearing and purposely chose this shot type to make clothing clearer. Such as the gun holster on his leg and the gun in his hands and all the details in his clothing. His gloves indicate he could potentially kill someone or do something illegal/bad and it involves using his hands and therefore could be trying to hide his tracks. He's holding his gun and that suggests he might shoot someone or use his gun for some sort of violence. His facial expression is quite serious and looks like he could be doing something that involves something serious. The background is gold that indicates he could be quite wealthy and could be quite higher up in the ranks and pretty well known/famous.   Tuesday 27th September 2022 LO: To apply the theoretical framework to media texts. Media language All the different elements used to construct any media product. Camerawork Establishing shot: Often use at the start of a new scene because it tells us where the scene is taking place and what time of day and when about, like it could be in the future or set in the past, this starting scene shot tells us a lot about whats happening and what the scene is about. Wide shot: We use the wide shot to show the surroundings and the relationship between a subject and its location. Mid shot: A shot taken of a character above the waist and shows there emotion. Medium close up: taken from chest upwards and gets rid of distraction and focuses on facial expression/ emotion. Close up: Often arranged at eye level which shows emotion and focuses on there facial expression.  extreme close up shot: Mainly shows just the eyes, but can show the nose mouth and ears as well which shows particular part...

Clothing: He is wearing a suit indicating he dresses quite formally in this movie. This furthermore indicates that he might be decently wealthy as well. Props: He is holding a gun. This means this type of movie could be a type of action movie and he might be using the gun maybe for shooting someone or something. Setting/Background: There is the Eiffel Tower in the back, this indicates that it is set in France/Paris.
